Thankyou! My younger children will love making some of these for their new niece or nephew as he/she gets older. Or maybe even now for a mobile..... oh the possibilities...!!
Hello, just a query on the pattern, there doesn't seem to be a crest on there. I am in the process of cutting out the pattern pieces and was wondering about this. Thank you for providing this lovely tutorial. :)
DaffodilAngel - you can either cut a jagged little crest like a rooster or a very simply comb more a like a chickens (take a look at my images on the pattern).....just make sure you leave enough on the bottom so you can slot it between the two pieces of felt when sewing up (does this make sense?)
ps - did you find the pattern took long to download?
thanks Natalie - understood. The pattern seemed to be ok when downloading - pretty quick actually, as sometimes downloads do take some time here. Will get a picture of finished project once completed. Best wishes :)
Thanks for this lovely pattern, I finally got around to finishing my chickens, and if you'd like, you can see a photo of them in my latest post at http://lubelyamai.blogspot.com.au/2012/03/slow-living-in-2012-month-2.html I really enjoyed making them ! Carole
